New EU Regulation on Tri Magnesium Citrate Anhydrous

On February 12, 2024, the EU boldly moved by assigning Tri Magnesium Citrate Anhydrous the E number E 345 (i), which will be added to Annex II of Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008. This decision will standardize the use of Tri Magnesium Citrate Anhydrous as stabiliser and anti-caking agent in solid food supplements up to 100 000 mg/kg. The move simplifies regulations, promoting innovation and potentially leading to a healthier population.
